BJ finally called me back. Which means I was able to tell him the news. And I heard back from Spiff, which means that he has heard the news. So now that most of the people that I needed to tell the news to have heard the news, I guess I can post the news on the blog. The Jeanners and I are expecting a baby in April. I think that everybody who reads the blog already knows, so it's not that much of a revelation, but I think it's more of like a place marker in the life of the blog. It has been weird to know for a few months and not tell other people, including our family and closest friends, and just keep it to ourselves.
Anyway, it's getting late. The Jeanners is pretty much asleep next to me on the couch. Black Friday was today. Not a big deal. Another Black Friday on the books. Work felt annoying all night long, even though it wasn't particularly annoying.
For Thanksgiving we headed up to Katie's farmhouse outside of Gettysburg. Spent a lovely day taking a hike, cooking up tasty grub, playing games, and listening to music. Really relaxing, really wonderful day spent with a good friend.
That's all I've got for now. Work tomorrow morning, so we should hit the hay.
