Lay down, David Bowie

The title of this post comes from a dream that I had several years ago.  I was recently reading a message that I had sent to a friend on Instagram the day after I had the dream.  In it, she and I were at a basketball game where she had to dance with her two boyfriends (Justin Timberlake and Josh Hutcherson) in front of everyone and was greatly embarrassed by it.  At one point in the dream, David Bowie was sitting on my lap and I had to say to him, "Lay down, David Bowie," because he was crushing my junk.

Some photographic highlights of the last few weeks:

Camping trip at Annapolis Rocks

Seeing Eric E. and Drew H. and the Indigo Girls

Opening Frankenstein

Life is strange.  I worry about the Jeanners, but I just keep going on.  Every day is packed with pretty much every possible emotion, which is tiring but, when I stop and pay attention to them all and look at them all as a whole rather than each one individually, is very rich and full and beautiful.

Several concerts coming up in the beginning of November:  Michigander (with the kids!), Afghan Whigs, Daniel Lanois.  Looking forward to them all.

Very much enjoying the album Julia, by Asgeir.  It has skyrocketed onto my list of top 10 albums.  Very solid all the way through.  Low key.  Pretty.
